Welcome to the Louisiana State Coroner’s Association (LSCA) website. The LSCA was established to develop a professional organization to unite and promote the vast work of coroner offices across the state. The jurisdiction of the coroner involves death, mental health and sexual assault. If you have a general question, please email us via email on our contact link.
The LSCA is a 501(c)(4) and does NOT have any governing authority over an individually elected coroner. All questions or comments that involve a specific parish should be directed to the office of the coroner in that parish.
