Todd G. Thoma, M.D. (Caddo Coroner)
Dr. Thoma was elected Caddo Parish Coroner in October of 2007 and was sworn into office in March of 2008.
Dr. Todd Thoma is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He is a native of Shreveport and a 1975 graduate of Capt. Shreve High School. He attended Louisiana Tech University and LSU Medical School in Shreveport. He was residency trained in internal medicine, but for the past 17 years he has taught emergency medicine at LSU. In his tenure at LSUHSC he has served as medical director and acting chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine. He completed a two-year fellowship with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in Washington D.C. and is recognized as one of the nation’s experts in traffic safety. He is well known for his efforts to advance the cause of injury prevention. He currently serves as a section editor for the Annals of Emergency Medicine.
William “Beau” Clark, M.D. (East Baton Rouge Coroner)

Dr. William “Beau” Clark is a native of Baton Rouge and graduated from St. Michael the Archangel High School. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University where he received his Bachelor of Science. He graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine in Baton Rouge. He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Clark was elected East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner in November, 2011 and continues to practice emergency medicine in the Greater Baton Rouge area.
Dr. Clark has served as Medical Director for the Louisiana State Police SWAT Team, Louisiana House of Representatives, Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, and East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team. Dr. Clark has been certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators.

L.J. Mayeux, Jr., M.D. (Avoyelles Coroner)

Dr. L.J. Mayeux was elected Avoyelles Coroner in 1991 after serving as Chief Assistant since 1980.
Dr. Mayeux attended LSU Baton Rouge and graduated from LSU New Orleans in 1977. Mayeux completed his residency in 1980 and currently practices medicine in Marksville, LA.
Dr. L.J. Mayeux is also Medical Director for All Saints Hospice and is active in Ducks Unlimited.

Erin Deutsch, D-ABMDI (Caddo Coroner Investigator)
Erin Deutsch is a death investigator for Caddo Parish Coroner's Office. She has an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, Medicolegal Death Investigation, and is also certified through the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators (ABMDI). She has previous experience in the North Louisiana Sexual Assault Response Team. Erin Deutsch became LSCA Secretary/Treasure in Fall 2015.
